MAKE ART/STOP AIDS is collaborating with the International AIDS Conference organizers to display recent works by Daniel Goldstein (San Francisco) and Gideon Mendel (Johannesburg and London). This art exhibition features large-scale sculptures and posters, and is available for viewing by conference attendees throughout the conference. Works on display include:

Condom Jewelry a hit at Dance Marathon

The Art | Global Health Center at UCLA joined the Dance Marathon at UCLA party over the weekend by leading dancers in condom jewelry making.

Dancers outfitted themselves with earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and even a condom tiara and continued to dance the night and day away in a 26-hour student run event that raised over 400,000$ to fight pediatric AIDS.

A day of events to raise funds for Haiti

Glorya Kaufman Hall, Room 1000 (Garden Theater)

10:00 am: Yoga class
12:00 noon: Hip-Hop class with Jackie Lopez
1:00 pm: Teach-in Lunch with musical performances and speakers. Please bring food to share. There will be a closing Tai Chi meditation.

$10 minimum suggested donation for all classes, check or credit card preferred. All proceeds to Partners in Health (www.pih.org).
